Employer of record, or your own payroll in the Netherlands?

Want to hire people in the Netherlands without setting up a Dutch company? An employer of record employs them on your behalf. There is another route: your foreign company registers as a Dutch employer itself, and we run the payroll.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a Dutch entity to employ people in the Netherlands?

No. A foreign company can register as a Dutch employer itself, or use an employer of record.

Who is the employer with an employer of record?

The employer of record is the formal employer. With your own registration, your own company remains the employer.

What does our own payroll cost with you?

€ 195 one-off for the registration and set-up, then € 25 per employee per month, excl. VAT.
